About Us

For over 60 years, Chapel Hill Preschool has been a place where young children begin their journey of learning, friendship, and discovery. Since opening our doors in 1962, we’ve proudly served generations of families—many of our students today are the children (and even grandchildren!) of former students, creating a special sense of tradition and community that makes our preschool feel like home.

At Chapel Hill Preschool, we believe children learn best through active exploration and meaningful experiences. That’s why we use the HighScope curriculum as the foundation of our program. Through hands-on learning, guided play, and supportive teacher interactions, children build confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Although we are located within a church building, we operate as an independent preschool and warmly welcome families of all backgrounds, beliefs, and cultures. Our focus is on creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to grow.
